UBC was re-elected for the Board of Cisac, International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers. UBC’s CEO also takes part in Cisac’s Executive Committee of Governance, having a guiding role in strategic issues.
UBC’s administration fees were reduced from 6.12% to 5.36% and those of Ecad from 13.88% to 12.14%. The right holder began to receive 82.5% of the collected amount.

UBC members were invited to pannels called Novos Meios, Novos Rumos (New Means, New Paths) held in several Brazilian states’ capitals focusing on copyright issues in the digital world.
